I’m Colm Griffin the founder of FDCO Ireland Limited

I spent 17 years running an online store called Purchase.ie

Purchase.ie primarily focuses on selling products that help customers reduce their bills.

It gained national acclaim winning Ireland’s Best Micro Business at the inaugural E-Commerce Awards in 2016 and much to my embarrassment I was often referred to in the media as an Energy saving expert. 

As the business evolved, competing with online superstores like Amazon and Ebay became more and more difficult so I had to pivot from what I was doing to support my family. 

I started selling card payment solutions through Dojo. I always loved number crunching so it was a natural fit for me. Furthermore having ran a small business for 17 years I understood the pain points of business owners and wanted to help them by offering the best possible product at the best possible price.

In September I received the Dojo International rising star award in recognition for the impact I was having in Ireland in the area of card payments.

This was a great honour as hundreds of Payments Consultants based in the UK, Italy, Spain and Ireland were eligible for the award.

I decided to become an Independent Payments Consultant so that I can give the customers more choice when it comes to payments solutions. One company is not necessarily the best fit for every business so I felt it was imperative to give businesses a better choice.

FDCO now has partnership agreements with a number of card payment providers.

Now the customer and the prospect get several quotes before we guide them on what we feel is the best fit for their business.

We make the transition from one provider to the other as seamless as possible.

We guide all our customers through the application process.
